B200 Captains Needed for Global Operation.

BACKGROUND & GROUP STRUCTURE

LyddAir Limited is a JAR-OPS-1 Airline that was granted its AOC #GB 2198 in April 2002 and was the reincarnation of Sky-Trek Airlines which was operating from Lydd since 1997. Until 2005 LyddAir was part of a grouping which also owned Lydd Airport. During 2005 the group was restructured and LyddAir is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlantic Bridge Aviation Limited (ABA) which was formed in 1988 and is involved in aviation consultancy and aircraft leasing as well as airport and airline operations. Also included in the group is South East Airports Limited (which has a shareholding in London Ashford Airport Limited) and the Beech Club which is an operating division of ABA.

EXISTING FLEET & FLEET PLANS
LyddAir currently operates two 18-seat Britten Norman Trislander’s G-OJAV and G-BDOT and one Beech 58 Baron G-BMLM. Three Piper Chieftain aircraft are being added (already purchased) G-EMAX, G-LYDC and G-LYDF.  Both G-EMAX and G-LYDC are in 10 seat commuter configuration whereas G-LYDF is in executive charter configuration. The plan is to deplete the Trislander fleet and operate Piper Chieftains only by the end of 2008 and to introduce turbo-prop equipment during 2008/9.

EXISTING AND PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
LyddAir currently operates scheduled services to Le Touquet and these are successful but are very seasonal and with a finite market. The restructuring plans will allow diversification to further afield destinations, both scheduled and charter, as well as consolidation on the Le Touquet schedule by operating capacity more suited to the shoulder seasons. ABA has also introduced a fractional programme which will be operated by LyddAir (www.atlanticbridgeaviation.com).  The Beech Club (www.thebeechclub.com) is a division of ABA and offers top-of-the-range Beech aircraft to discerning group members. Included are two Beech A36 Bonanza’s and one B58 Baron.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS & BASE
Access to Airport Restricted Zones is required by all LyddAir staff. This requires a police background check to see that all staff members have a clear and good record. All staff will be required to sign an employment contract which sets out conditions of employment including your salary, holiday entitlement, sick benefits, grievance and disciplinary procedures. Once you have joined there will normally be a probation period. The base is generally Lydd Airport but employees who join as aircrew or within flight operations are obviously expected to travel as a routine part of the job. Aviation is a 365 day-a-year business and is generally busy during leisure time. Employees will therefore be expected to work unsociable hours, weekends and public holidays. Employees will also be expected to take the majority of their annual leave entitlement during the Company’s quieter periods.
